K-12 Curriculum and Resources


NOVA Science Studio by NE Public Media

This curriculum is designed to provide students with the skills and tools to tell their own stories about science issues happening in their communities. It provides support for engaging in discussions and activities as well as editorial guidance for students as they develop their stories for their videos, conduct research, and shoot and edit their videos. The curriculum is designed to be completed over 7 to 8 months.

Two Teacher Professional Development Opportunities through Cultivate Access-Apply Today

Cultivate ACCESS to Data Science in Agriculture and Cultivate Resilience are programs that build on the success of the Cultivate ACCESS program. Since 2017, Cultivate ACCESS has worked to increase participation of underrepresented students from Nebraska in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) related agriculture, environment, and natural resource careers through virtual mentoring experiences, innovative experiential learning, and paid educator professional development and community building.
